Greetings from Hellesdon. Today is Sunday 26th February 2006. It is 0955 and this is the first post of my blog-a chance to share my musings with the wider world.
Married to VERONICA living in FOULSHAM, Norfolk with a daughter, a dog and a cat.
An Anglican Priest, I am Social Responsibility Officer for Norwich Diocese and Police and Fire services chaplain.
An instinctive federalist, a keen political activist and radical social justice campaigner. I embody this as an active and high profile member of the LIBERAL DEMOCRATS locally, regionally and federally. I am a member of the party's crime in the community policy working group which ties in well with another recent appointment as Convenor to an ecumenical criminal justice forum in Norfolk.
Other interests include reading, music, tennis and watching NORWICH CITY.
I was disabled by a car crash in 1992. I am co-ordinator of RoadPeace in East Anglia for several years providing practical and emotional support for those bereaved or injured by crashes on our roads.
My book, "When I was in Hospital, you Visited me" (Grove Books) tells something of my story reflecting my ongoing journey through pain and illness.
